Our Company
Koin International DMCC is a leading international diamond tender house, and one of the top tier tender houses in the UAE’s Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE).
We provide specialist rough and polished diamond sales, expertise and services to a global client base. We represent suppliers across the board from mines and large scale rough producers, to smaller artisanal diggers. The strategic partnerships we form with our suppliers, along with a broad spectrum client base of over 2,000 approved and pre-qualified buyers, allows us to leverage our expertise to ensure that we match exactly the right goods to the right buyers.
As a leader in the field, Koin has also been one of the first tender houses to introduce lab-grown diamonds to the tender market.
Journey to Success
It has been an incredible and humbling journey, since the first Koin tender in 2015 to one of the leading international diamond tender houses today. This comes with many memorable moments, not least the opportunity to market and sell the 467ct Meya Prosperity—the 29th largest diamond ever found, and the 5th largest in Sierra Leone. We’ve achieved this by emphasising personal relationships, and honing our systems to meet the needs of our large network of clients. These factors combined with a passion and love for the industry and a deep belief in the need to evolve, are key driving forces behind Koin’s success today.

Koin draws on years of irreplaceable hands-on experience within the industry, with a team who together combine over 95 years of experience in almost every area of production from source to retail. Our passion and expertise, along with the strategic relationships we build with our clients, makes us committed partners with our buyers and suppliers in achieving their business goals and successes.
Adam Schulman
CEO
Adam has over 25 years of business development and leadership experience in the diamond and jewellery industry, with an extensive global network at all levels from mines through to governments, manufacturers and retail. He is a keen entrepeneur who is internationally renown for spearheading the development of rough and polished diamond tenders over the last 19 years, acting as an industry disruptor in gem trading.
Adam has served on panels and as a keynote speaker for several industry events, and was an initiator of the DDE’s Tender Best Practice Forum – an industry first.
Martin Gill
Head of Operations
Martin possesses a wealth of experience and expertise in buying, pricing and assorting, including adapting to constant and often swift and volatile fluctuating market conditions.
With over 25 years experience in multiple aspects of the rough diamond trade, including an extensive background with a De Beers sightholder, Martin has a robust understanding of clients’ businesses, allowing him to efficiently understand and price rough diamonds of every kind. This enables Koin to handle large intakes of rough, and create very precise and tailored assortments for a large clientele.
